Meet The Manager

Joanna Byles is Registered Manager at Springfield Care Home.

Joanna has been a dedicated member of the Springfield Health Services since 2014. With a strong background in the care sector, she has steadily progressed through the roles of a carer through leadership to her current position as Care Home Manager.

Joanna’s deep passion for the wellbeing of both residents and staff shines through in everything she does. Known for her commitment, warmth, and hands-on leadership, she’s truly part of the fabric of Springfield. For Joanna, the care home isn’t just a workplace; it’s a second home, and she pours her heart into making it a safe, happy, and supportive environment for everyone.

Springfield Care Home is a residential home that offers a welcoming and homely setting. Being owned and managed by the same family for over 30 years, the experienced care and support team support residents to live as independently as possible, prioritising happiness and comfort each day.

Springfield Care Home benefits from two individually staffed buildings. With large comfortable lounges, separate dining areas and beautiful award winning gardens, the homes are fully equipped to care and support those seeking long-term, convalescence or respite residential care.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
