Lisa Noble is The Home Manager at Springbank Care Home.

My name is Lisa and I am the Registered Manager at Springbank.

I have experience of working in Domiciliary care and I have experience of working in mental health and of managing Nursing Homes.

I love people, I am a people person and really genuinely care and am passionate about ensuring those living at Springbank are happy and enjoy living in a home from home environment. I pride myself on having high standards and meeting the individual needs of each of our residents.

Springbank Care Home is a family owned residential care home situated in Silsden, West Yorkshire. Built in the 18th Century, Springbank was originally a grand family home with large formal gardens, having recently been refurbished and modernised, it is now a beautiful home combined with modern day facilities.
Care is offered to 41 residents and there is a specialist unit for people living with dementia. All rooms have en-suite facilities and are stylishly decorated with a high-quality finish. The communal areas are light and spacious with stunning original panelling and ornate cornicing, designed with comfort and social interaction in mind.

I’ve been working at Springbank for the past 4 years having worked my way up with the support and development of the company into the Deputy Manager position. I’m currently working towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care.

My real passion is for caring for residents living with Dementia, and I continually look to how we can improve how we work at Springbank in order to positively improve the lives of our residents.

I’ve been at Springbank for around 4 years, before previously working as a Pastry Chef.  I have been fortunate to have progressed in the company and worked my way up to Head Chef which I really love. My specialities are cake decorating and pastry making, and I love making sweet treats for our residents having worked previously as a Patisserie Chef!  I love all the residents and just really love working here.

I have experience of dementia both from a personal and professional perspective and am a qualified Dementia Care Mapper.  In my spare time, I love spending family time together with my husband and children, we love going on days out when we can and enjoying a good coffee and cake together! I also have a keen interest in martial arts in particular Taekwondo.
