Fiona Yurteri is Care Home Manager at Southlands Place.
Everyday myself and my team want to make a difference to our resident’s lives, seeing a smile on their face and laughing makes everything worthwhile. I have an amazing team around me and it is important to me that my team are supported in their roles to assist our residents.
Located in a quiet residential area in Bexhill-on-Sea, Southlands Place provides residential, dementia and nursing care on a permanent and respite basis.
Residents at the East Sussex care home can enjoy quality facilities including a café, cinema room and a hair and beauty salon. There is also a bespoke pub, ‘The Bluebell inn’ where residents can enjoy a drink with loved ones. Each bedroom is designed and furnished to the highest standard with en-suite facilities. Ground-floor rooms have private access to the landscaped gardens.
Situated close to Hastings, Eastbourne and the Sussex Heritage Coast, there is always something to look forward to with a schedule of regular activities and outings in the home’s own minibus.
