A favourite setting at Roxburgh House care home is the lovely dementia-friendly decked area with seating and raised flower beds. It is looked after by some of the Residents and provides a great spot for entertaining friends and family. The sunny conservatory allows Residents to enjoy some sun and views of the garden all year around.

Tastefully decorated, this small home offers Residents a choice of areas in which to relax, dine, socialise and exercise, all furnished for maximum comfort. The comfortable bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair.

Activities Are So Important

The carers and Residents at Roxburgh House care home enjoy playing an important part in their local community. The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat.
