Leanne Batten-Smith is Manager at Rose Court Nursing and Residential Home.
As a dedicated healthcare professional, Leanne has gained many years’ experience in providing care and support for older people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Leanne shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her experience to motivate her team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
“I have always had a sense of caring and making peoples’ lives better in any way I can. This sector has taught me many skills, that I have been fortunate to share with others, to enrich the lives of people in a positive way and it makes me proud to bang the drum for social care each and every day.”
Part of the peaceful residential area of Radcliffe in Manchester, Rose Court is a friendly, purpose-built home with 87 beds, which offers residential, nursing and dementia care.
The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is carefully designed to support the mind, body and soul.

Residents at Rose Court have plenty of places in which to relax and socialise, including a music room, café, delightful sensory room, hobbies and interests room, bar, memory room and hairdressing salon. In addition, this stylish home has four sitting rooms and three dining areas. A pretty, enclosed garden, which is looked after by some Residents, is the perfect setting for catching up with friends and family. |
