Rathgar Care Home Ltd is an award-winning care home in Northampton offering high-quality, personalised care for residents, a range of facilities and a stimulating variety of fun and social activities to promote good mental and physical well-being, specialising in dementia care.
The building that now houses Rathgar Care Home was originally built as a large family house, owned by a Northampton shoemaker.
It has since been sympathetically modified and extended over the past 30 years to become an ideal environment for a care home. Rathgar now includes specially designed accommodation for the over 65s. We are registered with the CQC for those that are frail or have physical disabilities and sensory impairments. We specialise in care for patients with dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and end-of-life care. Rathgar is now a 23-bed home, which consists of 11 single rooms and 6 doubles. We sit amongst a street of residential houses in Northampton, where we have built a strong relationship with the local community.
Our peaceful courtyard offers flowers and seating for all to enjoy. The perfect spot in the summer months for residents to relax with a cup of tea of glass of wine, and enjoy the peace and quiet in the warmth of the sun.
