Meet The Manager

Helen Grice is General Manager at Rashwood.

Since qualifying as a Registered nurse, from St Georges Hospital , South London in 1987, my passion has always been working in elderly care. I have been working at Rashwood Care Home since 2003, starting as a bank nurse whilst my children were small, having been the General Manager for the past eight years. I completed the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care in 2014. My ethos has always been’ treat others as you would want to be treated yourself ‘and this is how I lead the teams here at Rashwood. Led by myself, we have held the prestigious Gold Standard Framework hallmark for palliative care for the past nine years. My latest training has been in mental health  and I am the Mental Health First Aid champion for the Home.
