Meet The Manager

Kelly Edwards is Home Manager at OSJCT Coombe End Court.

Kelly had eight years’ experience in Health and Social Care when she joined the Trust and Coombe End Court in early 2014, and she has achieved her Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care. Kelly’s focus in her role as Home Manager is to ensure that all residents and staff are happy, and she believes the two go hand in hand.

Out of work, Kelly is the captain of her local netball team, and she also runs.

Coombe End Court offers compassionate, individualised day care, respite, residential and dementia care for up to 60 residents in two relaxing, friendly and comfortable households. We believe our professional expert care team are the best people to provide the personal care you need.

The home has been designed to enhance the quality of life of our residents and incorporates several features to promote reminiscence as therapy and with your wellbeing and comfort in mind.

Residents can enjoy the daily social activities going on in the central communal areas with the hairdressing salon open during the week. The cinema/entertainment room is used partly for activities but also for individual and personal use. The comfortable garden area and lounge on the ground floor are perfect for meeting family and friends.

 Each room offers a private bed-sitting room, an emergency 24 hour call system, ensuite shower rooms and plenty of space for those personal items from home.

Each room is furnished with a single bed with bedding included, wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair, bedside table, carpet, sink and sink unit, and curtains.

We understand how important it is to have daily activities to take part in and enjoy.

Our dedicated Activities Co-ordinators organise a wide programme of events around each person’s requests, hobbies and interests. The team will be delighted to assist you to continue with existing hobbies, as well as giving you the opportunity to try something new if you would like to.

They make sure everyone can enjoy themselves to the fullest, be that with arts and crafts, a coffee morning or more individual pursuits. Visits from outside entertainers happen regularly.
