Our Building and Facilities

The purpose-built home environment has been specifically designed to support the needs of older people including those with dementia, from aiding memory in day-to-day living and reminiscence therapy, to reinforcing personal identity and navigating around the home.

The home has been designed in smaller, households, to help maintain independence and dignity. All of the spacious furnished bedrooms have en suite facilities, with "wet room" bathrooms. We encourage the personalisation of residents’ bedrooms, with treasured belongings, pictures and memories.

Residents can enjoy the privacy of their own room or socialise with family and friends in one of the open plan living areas or smaller comfortable lounges on all three floors of the home. We even have our own pub bar decorated by local brewery, Wadworth.

Residents can enjoy the daily social activities going on in the central communal areas with the hairdressing salon open during the week. The resident’s pub, decorated by our local brewery is a perfect space for meeting friends and family or in good weather, residents regularly take advantage of the beautiful and accessible landscaped gardens, with seating areas and raised planters.
