The Importance Of Meal Times

Hallamshire is well- known and well-reviewed for its superb hearty and wholesome home cooked meals. We pride ourselves on our fresh food menus and almost everything is made from scratch in the building.

Our cook’s marvelous culinary skills translate into an extensive, nutritious menu providing variety and choices, according to residents’ preferences. We can cater for all diet types; from vegetarian and vegan through to soft, puree’d or liqud diets, we are happy to prepare all choices accordingly.

Our menus work on a 4 week rotating menu and every 12 weeks, we meet with Residents to ask suggestions for any changes to the menus or ideas and meals that they would like to see incorporated into the next 12 week set. This keeps our menus varied and relevant to the season.

Residents may dine in their own rooms if they wish or join us in one of the communal areas. Meals are served at particular times throughout the day, however residents can eat later or earlier if they wish. Assistance is always on hand at mealtimes for those who require it.
