Located just outside Manchester, in the peaceful residential area of Audenshaw, Guide Lane is a warm and friendly purpose-built care home with 38 beds, offering residential, nursing and residential dementia care.

Guide Lane’s Home Manager will make sure that all Residents receive the kindest possible care. Our extensively trained team will deliver all the nursing and specialist care and support services that your loved one requires. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and any suggestions from family members that might make their stay with us that little bit more enjoyable.

An attractive home, Guide Lane has lovely garden views and offers two sitting rooms, two dining rooms and a conservatory, all with specially designed furnishings to ensure maximum comfort. The well-tended garden is a tranquil place to relax, or to socialise with friends and family. All our bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair.

The carers and Residents at Guide Lane enjoy playing an important part in their local community. The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat.
