Emma-Jo is Manager at Glenfields Care Home Limited.
I began my career in care 12 years ago as a Health Care Assistant specialising in Spinal and Brain injuries. I quickly developed a passion and devotion to care, witnessing the rewards it brings working with people. I have much experience and knowledge in Physio & Rehabilitation, Advanced Diseases, Learning Disabilities, End of Life & Palliative Care. I have also had the fantastic opportunity to work closely with many leading experts in Motor Neurone Disease.
Over the years I have had a variety of roles in many different clinical, domiciliary and residential settings. I gradually worked my way up to an Assistant Manager and now thrilled to be starting my journey as Registered Manager.
I hold a Care Certificate which outlines standards related to Social Care. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and currently working towards Level 5. I have continuously attended training to hone my skills and keep up to date with the latest legislation.
