Meet The Manager

Jodie Hemmings is Manager at Furze Hill House.

Jodie is passionate about the work she does and brings over 35 years of experience in social care, having progressed from a care assistant to care home management, where she has spent the last 20 years developing and leading teams.

Outside of work she's a proud mum to two grown-up daughters and a grandmother to seven wonderful grandchildren.

She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially walking her dogs, and has a real love for nature. Jodie also enjoys singing, and dancing and – some might say – she has a bit of a passion for cars and motorcycles!

Our activities include singing, flower arranging, armchair exercises, coffee mornings, crafts, and lots more.
