Starting on November 22 and running through to January 2023 they have pledged to provide 100 hours of their befriending service for free.
The befriending service is where highly trained staff members, all of whom are DBS checked, will arrange either a weekly 15-minute check-in call or a 30-minute face-to-face companionship visit across locations in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
These visits give older people the opportunity to see a friendly face, have a cup of tea and chat with someone that cares.
