Audrey Faulkner is Registered Manager at Walfinch Dartford.
Audrey Faulkner is the Registered Manager. In her word: I am a Senior Carer specialising in Dementia. I love making life easier and more enjoyable for a person suffering with dementia. I enjoy communicating with our dementia clients families. It is so important to put their minds at ease that their loved ones are being looked after. My Secret and top tips: I believe in involving the client in everything possible especially preparing meals. Although it may be hard, it's important to try to retain a sense of humour, if appropriate, and remember it's not the person's fault. Be patient and be kind always. I love talking about the things my clients love. I love seeing their faces light up when they show me photos and share their life stories. I love making memory books with my clients. I love watching my clients enjoy the beauty of music and the seeing the value that music brings to my Dementia clients as well as other service users.
