Richard Shepherd is Service Manager at Trenewydd Residential Care Home.
There’s no better feeling than finishing the day knowing you’ve made a real difference to the lives of our residents. They bring laughter and smiles to every moment. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing residents happy, content, and safe each day, knowing I’ve played a part in that. I run the home to the same high standards I would expect for my own parents, leading a fantastic team to ensure every resident enjoys a great quality of life and is treated as an individual.
Teamwork at Trenewydd is outstanding. Every member of the team contributes to making the home run smoothly. No one role is more important than another – everyone works hard with one shared purpose: to provide the very best care for our residents at all times.
Situated in the friendly residential suburb of Llanfaes, near Brecon and close to local amenities, Residents at Trenewydd will find every modern convenience in this three-storey home, surrounded by beautifully kept grounds with a sensory garden and furnished patio area with wonderful views across the Brecon Beacons.
