Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon is home to the pristine Margaret Court, situated just 2 miles from the town centre in the village of Tiddington. Developed in 2009, Margaret Court is the most recent addition to the Retirement Security family, and was chosen by our founder, Bob Bessell, as his home. Here, you can choose from 44 well equipped apartments and 6 bungalows, each bungalow having a garage and private garden.

Owners can relax and socialise in the communal lounge, or dining room where they can enjoy a delicious meal freshly prepared by the in-house catering team. These areas host a variety of entertainment for the Owners, from themed meals, film nights and birthday parties to keep-fit classes and cocktails on the patio! Margaret Court Owners can enjoy the hobbies room, often referred to as the library where board games can be played, new card games learnt or arts and craft skills refined. There are also communal gardens for the Owners to enjoy: bright and vibrant spaces that are especially beautiful when in full bloom, and perfect to enjoy all year round with seating dotted throughout.

Weekly cleanings of all dwellings are completed by a dedicated housekeeping team who also look after the entire development. All dwellings are installed with safety pull cords in every room which immediately signal one of our 24 hour on-site staff members, ensuring that help arrives within minutes. There is also a guest suite which can be used for friends and family to stay in!

Tiddington is a pleasant village offering a selection of leisure and essential amenities. The SPAR convenience shop and post office are near at hand, alongside the local pub and restaurant, The Crown, and a Chinese and Indian restaurant offering takeaway options. There are also regular local bus services into Stratford and Leamington Spa. 

Stratford-upon-Avon boasts a variety of entertainment: the iconic RSC Theatre is home to superb productions, both modern and classic, and the local markets provide vivid and diverse stalls for you to explore, including fresh fruits and vegetables to be enjoyed. There are several large supermarkets including M&S, Tesco, Waitrose, Lidl and Aldi, all at your convenience.

We aim to be transparent about our charges. A monthly service charge covers the costs of the services we provide and includes one and a half hours of domestic assistance per week. A transfer premium of up to 3% of the sales price is payable to us when a property is sold. This covers the costs of our estate agency services – there is no additional charge for these. We do not charge ground rents. Further information is available from the resales team and the Court Manager.
