What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We work with the local health board to ensure we are up to date with the guidelines of COVID 19 guidance. CIW check our home to maintain a high standard of care within the home. Crick Care Home will continuously look to improve the quality of resident and stakeholder experience. Complaints and suggestions help us.

They make us aware of issues people encounter whilst accessing our service. We are always keen to listen and act if complaints arise. We will investigate, address, and resolve each complaint within agreed timescales. We will always use feedback to improve service quality and delivery.

In terms of the specific measures, here's what we do:

  • Staff are tested a minimum of twice a week, more if required.
  • All visitors are asked to complete an LFD test prior to entering the home.
  • Temperature Checks of all staff and visitors.
  • Hand Sanitiser and PPE provided.
  • Enhanced infection control measures in place.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
