Meet The Manager
Christine Whiteside is Manager at Bryn Yr Haul.
Christine has a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing different care home settings, including Residential, General Nursing and Dementia Nursing, having been the registered Manager at Bryn Yr Haul since March 2014.
Throughout this time, Christine has supported her team to become accredited with the Six Steps Programme, promoting excellent quality personal end-of-life care. Christine has built up excellent relationships with other Health Professionals, including the two GP practices in the area, together with all inspecting authorities.
Christine is proud to lead the team, inviting visitors into the home with a professional, warm, welcoming atmosphere and a philosophy of all the staff that nothing is too much trouble.
Bryn Yr Haul Nursing Home is a grade 2 listed building, originally built in 1840, with an extension built in 2002. Once you’re welcomed inside, you’ll instantly see how this building has been modernised whilst keeping its charm.
Our team specialises in providing care to residents with general nursing needs and ensures that loved ones receiving end-of-life care have the dignity and empathy they deserve.

The home features two lounges: a quieter lounge ideal for relaxation, church services or small groups, and a larger main lounge for activities and social gatherings. Residents also enjoy pamper sessions in the modern on-site hair salon, as well as beautifully landscaped gardens and woodland with secure, wheelchair-accessible outdoor seating. |

Whether it’s socialising in one of the many communal spaces, taking part in some light gardening or enjoying a spot of tea in the lounges. Recently, our residents have enjoyed baking and flower arranging, to get those creative juices flowing. At Bryn Yr Haul Nursing Home, life is whatever our residents want it to be. |
