The Homecare People was formed in 2013 by a team with many years’ experience in the Healthcare sector such as in home care for the elderly. Therefore the team running it are very experienced and came together to make a difference to the levels of home care service available.
Enabling independence at home is all about delivering support where it is needed most, with services selected to suit each client.
The Homecare People are here to provide as much or as little support as desired, whether that is an hour on an occasional basis or on a regular visit schedule leading up to 24-hour live-in care.
We also provide support for carer/family rest breaks.
Our list of services is a guide of the most frequently requested home care services, so if you need support with anything that is not listed please do not hesitate to ask. We are confident that we can meet your exact requirements and would be delighted to be given the opportunity to do so.
Often our help is provided with the support of families and sometimes we support GP’s and other healthcare professionals with their care plans.

The Importance Of Meal Times |
---|
Meals are an important time for most people and while we fully understand and subscribe to the need for well balanced and nutritious food, we also recognise eating is about pleasure and making sure clients enjoy every meal. On top of that we know there are favourite meals our typical clients like based around their age and culture and so we make sure our Companions understand this and we help them with our range of menu's. Another key point, which is contrary to many care homes, we dont believe meals are at fixed times. Our clients are retired and will have their own routines in which case we work around you, if you want to sleep late, that's fine. However sometimes we need to ensure some level of routine and this is all part of the care plan and being flexible depending on how you feel on the day. |

It is well recognised how much animals can lift our spirits, I can remember the joy of bringing Donkeys to a care home, it was talked about for weeks! Usually our dogs and cats are a part of our lives and before we take on any client its important we know how we will, or if we can, manage their pet family. |
