Stephanie Eley is Home Manager at Churchfields Care Home.
I began my career in care when I was 16 and have worked in the care sector for over 20 years. I have seen all sides of the care home business including laundry, kitchen and then as a care worker and deputy manager. I have also had experience in domiciliary care.
Moving to Oxford in 2010 saw my path into care management begin. I’m passionate about delivering person centred care and for our residents to feel happy, comfortable, and most importantly at home.
There is nothing I like more than walking into a room and seeing my residents smiling and laughing, they deserve to have fun and we really are one big family!
We go above and beyond to look after our team. Our commitment to a high staff ratio ensures staff have time to deliver quality care they can feel proud of, and to build valued relationships. We listen to our staff, seek their feedback and implement their ideas for continuous improvement.
Churchfields is first and foremost a home, providing care in a friendly, warm and loving environment. We provide residential, nursing and dementia care for elderly ladies and gentleman, offering respite and convalescence, as well as long term care.
