Meet The Manager

Margaret Duncan is the Manager at Brookvale House.

My name is Margaret Duncan, I am the manager at Brookvale House and my office is located on the top floor. I have been a manager of Nursing and Residential homes for over 20yrs. I am passionately dedicated to providing an outstanding quality of care and accommodation at Brookvale House, which in time will

enrich the lives of our residents. Central to this is empowering my employees through superior training and development to deliver inspirational care and to be happy in their role as first class carers.

I believe in providing a relaxed, homely and enjoyable environment, whilst maintaining your dignity or that of your loved ones in their later years, this where I would have liked my own parents to have spent their final years. I am extremely proud to be a member of the Brookvale House team and to work in an environment where our residents live in beautiful surroundings that they can really call home.

We have an outdoor testing area for visitors and an assigned indoor space allowing both indoor and window visitation for relatives to spend quality time with their loved one safely.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
