Deborah Craig is Care Home Mnager at Hadrian House.

Deborah grew up wanting to be a nurse and feels very passionate about her role as a home manager, mentor, and role model. Deborah finds her job extremely rewarding and sees this as an important part of her life. She has been a qualified nurse since 1984, she has the core values of caring, respect, dignity, compassion, integrity, and commitment. Deborah ensures that her staff team strives to deliver high standards of individualised, person-centred care in a homely environment. We believe in going the extra mile so that residents have the best possible quality of life with that home-away-from-home feeling, where you become an extension of our family.

Set in beautifully landscaped gardens within Wallsend, in the East of Newcastle, Hadrian House care home provides modern, tastefully decorated and furnished, welcoming and homely spaces for living, rehabilitation and relaxing, spread over three floors.

Hadrian House has been designed and purpose-built to provide the very best in specialist care within the North East. Each of the 50 single en-suite bedrooms have been beautifully decorated and furnished with carefully selected bespoke fabrics and carpets, giving residents the perfect backdrop to personalise their rooms and make Hadrian House their home.

Hadrian House has a variety of lounges and dining rooms on each floor, giving residents plenty of space to socialise, relax and participate in activities throughout the home. There is lift access to all floors and some of the upper floor bedrooms benefit from a Juliette balcony, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of their own room. Additional outdoor space is provided on the roof terrace overlooking Wallsend Golf Course and gardens, where residents can relax in the fresh air without leaving the upper floor.
