Our vibrant community village on Mealhouse Lane is rated 'OUTSTANDING' by the Care Quality Commission and brings the very latest in care and facilities for older people into the heart of the town.

The village hub includes a licensed bistro, hair salon, therapy room and exercise studio.

Belong households represent a radically different alternative to conventional care homes.  With a maximum of 12 residents per household, these provide a family atmosphere where customers can build lasting relationships with staff and other residents. Our specially trained support and nursing staff are available around the clock to support individuals with dementia and those residents who require clinical care. Our village model is a stunning example of how advanced design and very high standards of care can provide a new quality of life for older people

Autumna has invited care providers to evidence the infection control measures they are carrying out, above and beyond those laid out by the government, in order to keep residents, staff and visitors safe.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are committed to enabling customers to maintain ‘in person’ relationships through Covid-19, while managing these as safely as possible.
All visits are facilitated in line with Government guidance and we provide regular updates to relatives with details of the current status. At all times, we follow best practice infection prevention and control measures and you will find a number of precautions in place to help minimise any risk of infection during your time with us.

Belong has robust infection prevention and control
measures in place to protect residents and
colleagues.
These include:
•Colleagues are wearing Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) at all times
•Everyone is observing social distancing generally
across the village, with particular care taken at
meal times and activities
•Colleagues work on their own household to avoid
movement between settings
•There is emphasis on regular hand-washing
•Heightened cleaning regimes are in place
In a recent survey, 100% of Belong village colleagues
responded that they feel well informed about
Covid-19, the risks it poses and how to stay safe –
and 96% believe they have the right equipment to do
their jobs safely.
Belong has worked hard throughout the pandemic
to ensure good supplies of PPE, and we are
continuing to maintain this through regular stocktakes and ordering.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications
