Iwona Proszowska is Manager at Belle Vue Nursing Home.

Iwona became qualified as a nurse in 1991, specialising in cardiology for over 15 years. She is a teacher of staff and a manager who is dedicated to the care and service of her residents. She believes that every resident is an individual and strives to ensure that their care and support are personalised and based on their specific needs and wishes. Iwona believes that working with residents and their families is essential to achieving good patient outcomes.

Belle Vue House was built in 2000 and is situated in the East of Newcastle in the residential area of Heaton. The care home is just off Chillingham Road which is a busy area with small shops and cafes and is near to Heaton Park. It is close to Jesmond Dene and has excellent bus and Metro connections. It is also accessible to the coast and the City of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Belle Vue House is a 49-bed, purpose-built care home for those requiring dementia nursing and dementia residential care.

The home is divided into 3 floors and Belle Vue House has a large passenger lift which allows residents to access all floors. The bedrooms have a nurse call to enable you to summon assistance when required.

Belle Vue House has a private garden accessed from the ground-floor conservatory. The garden comprises a water feature and a mixture of perennial and annual planting. There are also fruit trees and bushes and a small herb garden.
