Activities Are So Important

Regular activities include flower arranging, art and craft sessions, quiz nights, and tea parties as part of our regular activities schedule which is on display for all to see. As well as fun events in the home, entertainers often come and visit us too. We have recently been visited by the Salvation Army, animal therapists Zoolab, and many talented musicians and singers.

As you would expect, special holidays are incorporated into our activity calendar and birthdays are always celebrated with a party and a big slice of cake which is handmade by our wonderful kitchen team led by Chef Heath Brown – all of our residents receive a birthday cake designed with their interests in mind to give them a truly unique experience.

We invite our residents to join in with choosing and planning activities and encourage those moving in with us to continue with their current hobbies and interests. We create bespoke activities calendars specifically to include events dear to our residents. From supporting charities of their choosing in fundraising events, to launching new resident clubs based on their interests and hobbies.
