Meet The Manager

Janet BIll is Business Director at The Good Care Group.

Janet has been a qualified Nurse since 1982 and  has gained a wealth of experience across the NHS and private sectors working for Health and Social Care providers in both clinical and managerial roles, including Stroke rehabilitation, Care Homes, out of hours and NHS 111. Her passion for quality took her into governance where she worked as a Clinical Governance Manager, developing compliance frameworks. Janet joined The Good Care Group in 2016 and progressed to Business Director in September 2020. Janet's  passion and drive is always to deliver a high quality service for the customer, regardless of the situation or setting they find themselves in.

After graduating from university with a degree in languages and politics, Hannah embarked on a career in translation. During this period, she helped care for a family member and realised she wanted to develop a career in social care. Hannah was offered a place with The Good Care Group on a graduate scheme with the Skills for Care and hasn’t looked back since. Hannah is passionate about working in a company that is able to provide exceptional one-to-one care to support clients at home, where long-term relationships can be built that deliver improved outcomes for individuals. Hannah has worked at The Good Care Group since 2013 in a variety of roles, from Care Manager through to Regional Manager and more recently Head of Operations and continues to be excited about working with an organisation that can make a significant positive change to our clients' wellbeing.

Head of Quality and Development Strategy

Emma joined The Good Care Group on a Skills for Care Graduate Scheme placement in 2014. Since then she has worked as a Regional Support Assistant, Care Manager and most recently for the Quality and Development Team. Emma studied history and politics at university but her part-time work as a healthcare assistant at a neuro-rehab center is what initially led her to a career in health and social care. Emma is a detail-orientated person who is highly driven to ensure that we deliver a quality service to our clients which includes ensuring that professional carers are trained to the highest standard. Emma has a particular interest in end of life care and volunteers at a local hospice in her spare time.

Gemma graduated in 2002 with a degree in Business Management and subsequently gained professional qualification as a Financial Advisor working within the banking sector.  Gemma has worked in healthcare for over 15 years, initially in secondary care working for England's largest independent provider of NHS services. She has experience in Clinical Governance as well as Business Development which involved negotiation and contract management with local authorities and CCGs to ensure utilisation of a block contract. Prior to joining The Good Care Group Gemma was a business consultant advising on cost reduction and strategic revenue growth for private dental practices. Gemma is focused on increasing revenue and long term business growth by developing strategic partners as well as sharing the benefits of live-in care far and wide.

Following graduation from university with a degree in theatre performance, Nathan put his communication skills and passion for people to good use, working for a financial services company, providing guidance to vulnerable individuals who struggled managing their finances. Through this work, Nathan developed a real desire to help people in need and started working for a live-in care provider in the midlands, helping to find the right care solutions for families in need. When he was approached and offered a position at The Good Care Group as a Client Services Advisor, Nathan jumped at the chance to work for a company that leads the way in the quality of support provided and innovation in the way things were done. Nathan has worked in the Client Services department for over 4 years and, now leading the team, uses his experience and passion to always drive the highest of standards, to ensure we provide excellent client experience and the best support possible.
