Welcome to Redbond Lodge. Thank you for taking the time to view our home. I have worked for Runwood Homes for 25 years, progressing from care assistant to Home Manager. I have an in-depth knowledge of care standards and extensive experience working with a wide range of residents. I urge my team to build a happy and loving relationship with our residents and their families and encourage activities that enhance the wellbeing and independence of our residents, incorporating the local community and businesses where possible.
Redbond Lodge is an 83 bed care home situated in the quiet and rural location of Great Dunmow. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia.

We strive to create a homely environment at Redbond Lodge and we provide all the comforts of good food, good company and friendly staff, in a calm and restful atmosphere. All of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished with en-suite bathroom facilities and the home has excellent amenities, including comfortable lounges in which residents can relax. We also have a dedicated area for dementia care, designed to enable those we care for to maintain their independence in a safe environment. |

The activities at Redbond Lodge are varied and, alongside enjoying themselves, residents can receive a wide range of health and fitness benefits from taking part. In addition, the dining room at Redbond changes with the calendar, with themes such as Guy Fawkes, Christmas, and Chinese New Year that enhance the home’s personal atmosphere. |
