Meet The Manager

Tracy Brain is Registered Manager at Lansdowne Hill Care Home.

I’m incredibly proud of the team here. Caring for the residents of Lansdowne Hill is more than a job – all our staff are friendly, professional and compassionate, whichever role they’re in.

We’re always looking for ways to improve and really value the meaningful and caring relationships we have with our residents and their families.

Lansdowne Hill is a home for life, and we do everything we can so our residents feel completely safe, cared-for and happy. We work hard to support them to have choice and control over their lives as much as possible, as their needs change.

The Importance Of Meal Times

Tasty, wholesome and home-cooked food is really important to us. We are incredibly lucky to have amazingly talented chefs who organise diverse and exciting meal plans, using locally-sourced ingredients as much as possible. Our chefs always ask for feedback from our residents and welcome suggestions or adaptations to the menus to ensure all our residents are happy and well informed.

We encourage our residents to dine together for the many social and nutritional benefits, but residents can eat their meals in private too if they prefer.

We provide picture and written menus. Before serving however, we always re-offer, to check our residents haven’t changed their minds about what they’d like to eat.

Our team can cater for a range of dietary needs. We take the needs of all residents into consideration, to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and safe dining experience.
