Meet The Manager

Gary Butchart is Service Manager at Lomond View.

Gary has worked within the Care Sector in different roles and positions where he began his career as a Care Assistant and worked his way up to Care Home Manager.

Throughout Gary's career he had many opportunities to further develop his knowledge. He took up the position with Holmes Care Group as Lomond View’s Care Manager in 2003, and built a very strong working relationship with his staff and is extremely proud of his position within the Holmes Care Family.

In Gary's role as Care Home Manager, He has learned that it is important to be flexible and that kindness and compassion, patience, and a good dose of rationality play a major role in the smooth running of any care home, and most importantly that the residents wishes and needs are paramount. He also believes teamwork is vital to achieve the task at hand.

What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

We are working within the government guidelines to help protect our staff and clients.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
safe-tick Virus Testing We are testing for viral infection when symptoms present within our care setting.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
