Meet The Manager

Lisa Kirtland is registered Manager at Tilford Care & Nursing Home.

Our staff go the extra mile for our residents. Staff come in on their days off to help with outings and events, even bringing their children to help or join in. After heavy work and paperwork they still manage to find time to interact with our residents and build on relationships within the home and those connected to it, and we’re always keeping an eye out for new activity ideas and possible visitors to the home for the residents’ enjoyment.

Tilford Care is situated in a lovely, quiet environment in the suburb of Farnham, Surrey, with high-quality, affordable care and service.

We respect the privacy, space and right of all of our residents to make personal choices. Each resident is different and we offer a number of activities and menu options to make everyone happy, motivated and feel cared for.

When someone enters Tilford they become a part of the Agincare family immediately. We look after them and assist them as much as possible in independence, decision-making and retaining control. Tilford is their home and we support their changing physical and emotional needs for as long as possible.

We aim for the best possible quality of life for residents living with dementia and treat everyone as an individual.

We care for families as well as residents - the door is always open for a chat and we have regular family forums to offer support.

Our Building and Facilities

To meet the range of  different needs and requirements, Tilford is fully equipped. We don't arrange our communal areas in a clinical way, because we want Tilford to feel like' home.' Our comfortable living rooms and dining room provide plenty of space for group activities or to find a quieter spot somewhere else.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the whole building and residents have an iPad to Skype friends and relatives.
Visitors can bring their own devices and use our Wi-Fi, to show videos and photographs and enable visiting children to play games.

Our residents are involved in proposing new events and journeys, and we make to sure to take full advantage of our minibus!
