Meet The Manager

Maebh McCormack is Home Manager at Sanford House Nursing Home.

As the Home Manager I believe our residents are our priority, and we are privileged that they choose to be in our homes and care and trust us to support their needs. Since becoming a Registered Nurse, I have worked in a variety of roles within the care sector for over 13 years. I have worked with adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems in secure services for over 4 years and then moved on to Dementia and Nursing Home Care. I progressed to a clinical lead role and then onto the role of Home Manager. I also supported homes across Norfolk and Suffolk as an Operations Manager.

Working across a variety of settings has supported my clinical and management skills development. I operate an open-door policy and am approachable, not only to my team, but to the residents and their relatives too. I encourage person centred care and reflect this in how the staff team works and delivers their care.
