Meet The Manager

Emma Dale is Manager at Brook Lane Rest Home.

We are located in Sarisbury Green, Hampshire which is an easy distance from both Southampton and Portsmouth. Brook Lane Residential Care Home is a family owned and managed home we have been established since 1985 and the management team is now being led by our second generation.

With 26 generous sized rooms, many en-suite, it means we are small enough to treat all our clients as individuals in a happy and caring atmosphere but big enough to ensure our levels of professionalism are second to none. Our spacious day rooms are very comfortable and full of natural light and with lovely views over our garden you will also find some quiet nooks to read or relax.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Description

All our bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with a choice of décor and are all double glazed for comfort and security.

We are now using the latest design of beds by Wissner-bosserhoff the Sentida which is designed both to monitor the user for their comfort and well-being and also as it is lower to the floor it is easier when getting in or out of bed and is proven to reduce the risk of accidental falls. We believe that using these beds adds to the dignity, independence and safety of our residents and, of course, they are very comfortable.

Other features include individually controlled heating via safe touch radiators, modern vanity units or en-suite facilities, TV points, optional personal telephone lines and call points providing the peace of mind that help is always quickly available.
