Meet The Manager
Tina Dawson is General Manager at Maidstone Care Centre.
Tina joined the RCH Care Homes and Maidstone Care Centre family earlies this year. An experienced Registered Nurse, Tina has over a decade of working within the Social Care sector.
Tina’s experience and dedication for ensuring the best care for those living within the home is rooted in her experience and knowledge in delivering compassionate person-centred care, “I’m passionate about making a difference in the residents and their loved one’s lives, making their days the best they can be.”
Situated in a pleasant residential area, Maidstone Care Centre is purpose-built and carefully designed to support our residents to live happy, fulfilled and comfortable lives.
Located over three floors, our home includes light and airy, open plan lounges/diners as well as spacious en-suite bedrooms, and a variety of communal spaces such as our traditional-themed pub, quiet room and hair salon.
Our landscaped gardens are wheelchair accessible and designed to be a welcoming place for people to relax on our elevated decking are complete with outdoor furniture, or to enjoy a spot of light gardening.

Supporting our residents to enjoy every day living at Maidstone Care Centre is a key focus for our dedicated team. By getting to know each person, we are able to tailor our activities and events to their likes and dislikes as well as activities they may like to try. No two days are the same here and, alongside our usual daily hobby-based activities, we also like to host events which are a little out of the ordinary. In addition to keeping fit with our chair-based exercises, baking, quizzes in our themed pub, movie nights and our knit and natter club, we also take great pleasure in welcoming visiting entertainers, schools, nurseries, therapy animals and groups to our home to enjoy spending time with our residents. Our team and residents also love our Ladder to the Moon projects, have recently created their own cookbook to sell for charity, and enjoy getting dressed up for our themed days throughout the year — complete with themed menus and decorations! |
