Meet The Manager

Caroline Cheeseman is General Manager at Groveland Park Care Home.

Caroline Cheeseman began her career in the care industry 20 years ago in the NHS enjoying her role as a Care Assistant in A&E where she worked for 5 years. She then transferred to the private sector as a home manager where she has cared for residents with nursing, residential and dementia needs adopting a person centred, holistic approach to support physical and mental wellbeing. Caroline is very much a hands on manager who prides herself in getting to know each resident and their families to ensure that the best level of high quality care and support is provided to everyone, believing that our residents are at the heart of everything that we do.

Caroline Cheeseman

We’re incredibly proud of Groveland's Park’s state of the art design, its facilities, its comfortable rooms and its attractive furnishings, that were built in 2013.

Our top priority is to deliver the best care possible, while never losing sight of the happiness of each and every resident. There are as many personalities in our home as there are residents; providing customised lifestyle care comes as naturally to us as ensuring residents receive the required medical care.

However residents like to spend their time, we ensure their lifestyle choices are respected and catered for.

Our ethos is to provide an environment where our residents can lead a fulfilling life and remain as independent as possible, while respecting our residents’ capabilities, desires and individuality.

Groveland Park residents and families can have peace of mind from our all-inclusive pricing policy. The fee is dependent on room available or chosen and the care needs determined on pre-admission assessment.

Activities Are So Important

Our full time activity co-ordinator is a mastermind when it comes to creating enjoyable pursuits that will entertain, provide opportunities for socialising with other residents and interacting with the wider community. Our residents’ input has a large degree of influence when it comes to creating the programme of events, see the examples below. Our very own minibus is always ready to whisk groups away on exciting day trips.

Our own cinema screens regular films; residents can make use of the Groveland Park chauffeur-driven limousine if they wish to arrange their own outing; and the Lily Room Spa provides a huge range of treatments ranging from hairdressing to massages for residents and non-residents to enjoy.

Residents’ visitors are welcome whenever they want to come - here is no need to ring and make an appointment; friends and family always receive a big welcome at Groveland Park, and will be looked after, catered for, and made to feel at home.
