Christian Wilse is Owner / Manager at Seniors Helping Seniors (Canterbury & Thanet).
Seniors Helping Seniors is a profit with purpose organisation, we are social entrepreneurs with multiple awards.
Our care model has a 22-year track record and is a trusted elderly home care business brand. Over 300 branches worldwide, Seniors Helping Seniors is a trusted organisation.
Christian Wilse and Sally Wilse established the UK operations in 2013 and they are excited to help other people make use of their business skills and passion to help change the way people age in the country. More people get the work they need and want to do, more elderly people get the support they need to live safely and well in their own homes, more communities have the choice of great elderly care and more people stay out of hospital and GP’s surgeries.
Christian moved to the UK from his home in Norway in 1990. He has worked for Charities, Premier League and sport rights, film & TV broadcast, technology & software - Christian is a Rotarian.
The Seniors Helping Seniors services are award-winning and person-centred. We know all of our elderly carers well and we carefully match your carer to you. The same person will provide your care and you will be introduced personally before service starts. Your care is managed flexibly for your complete peace of mind and we will always be available with solutions for back up and emergencies.
At Seniors Helping Seniors, we’re here to help the elderly live well and safely in their own home. Our carers are mature and experienced. Plus, we work with the NHS, social care services, and other care companies in the community including local GPs and local charities e.g Age UK.

Activities Are So Important |
---|
In the days before COVID-19 we took clients to swimming, yoga and specialist chair based yoga classes, and we walked as often as we could with clients. We went to events, museums, coffee shops and more. Now we help our clients shield and so we maintain as many activities as possible within the guidelines and where necessary we support our clients to attend classes and activities on Zoom. We are not yoga teachers but by accompanying our clients online as fellow students following instructions, the teacher feels confident in safety and the client is more likely to keep up the activities. We can help clients get online to connect with family and friends too - encouragement is everything! |
