Jamie has grown up with both parents working in the care sector, so his career naturally led him into a care environment as a support worker in a respite centre after finishing sixth form college. ![]() Jane FranksDirector & OwnerJane Franks, owner and director of Radfield Home Care Milton Keynes has a wealth of business experience, having worked for over 25 years to director level at Domino’s Pizza, Milton Keynes. Jane is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD) and gained a Post Grad Diploma in Human Resources and an MA in Human Resource Management at Middlesex University. However, Jane began a different journey in 1976, starting a college course to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a nurse. Having spent some of her childhood in Canada, Jane became a Candy Striper, now called a youth volunteer, in her local hospital, supporting nurses in patient care. Even then Jane enjoyed working with elderly patients and has special memories of her time as a personal carer for a 90-year old lady recuperating following a stroke. Jane explains, “I remember the wonderful life stories my patients shared with me.” |
