The Importance Of Meal Times

Residents can choose their meals from a daily menu offering a full variety of beautifully cook and presented favourites. There is always a choice of menu which can be chosen from the main menu or the alternative menu option. Everything is nutritionally balanced, as you would expect, but of course there are the addition of those desserts and treats which we all enjoy. Any special dietary requirements are accommodated, the chef is very happy to discuss all needs and tastes with our new residents and also take feedback on an ongoing basis.

Refreshments and snacks are available all day, as is supper in the evening. Morning coffee and afternoon tea are served in the lounges and as a room service.

Meals are served in the beautiful dining room which overlooks the large garden. Cosy in winter around the traditional fireplace in the dining room or bright and light in the summer with the light flooding in through the bay window, it is a very pleasant place to eat.

The addition of a pool table and table tennis table has ensured that staff and residents are now able to enjoy some fun games, as well as in some more serious participation. Card games, jigsaws, board games are also quieter games which residents enjoy.

Residents are supported one to one to continue hobbies and activities that they have always enjoyed previously in the community.
