Our Building and Facilities

Our quiet lounges and communal areas offer the perfect place for residents to met with friends and family or simply enjoy one of the many activities provided through an onsite activities coordinator. The Gables Residential Care Home Middlesbrough also has a weekly visit from a hairdresser, offering the chance to unwind and feel pampered in our own hair salon or residents can relax in our conservatory. As well as this, we have a smoking lounge as well as TV room for everyone to take advantage of. We also encourage each resident to keep their own GP where possible and attend the same hospital appointments. We feel this keeps a level of continuity in their care and helps them remain comfortable and feel in control of their health. The Gables has an excellent enclosed courtyard garden with a secured patio area and comfortable seating areas perfect for relaxing on a summer day. The large, lawned garden is completely wheelchair accessible and we even have our own greenhouse for residents to tend to at their will.
